In commercial disputes, Akyn has represented major hotel chains in management agreement disputes, defended a global air transport technology company in a high-value contractual claim, and advised multinational corporations on distribution, licensing, and IP-related disputes with cross-border elements.
In investigations, Akyn has advised a leading pharmaceutical company on an FCPA and anti-bribery compliance review, represented a US steel producer in a fraud investigation before the Thai Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECSD), and defended clients in proceedings before Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission and Anti-Money Laundering Office. He is admitted to the Lawyers Council of Thailand.
