Global law firm Clyde & Co has advised Chatsworth Schools, a rapidly expanding independent schools group backed by leading growth investor Synova, on its acquisition of Riverston Group Limited, an education group which manages Riverston School in London and Beech Hall School in Macclesfield.
The Riverston Group's focus is on providing educational opportunities to students of differing abilities, with a proven capability and focus on the provision of pastoral care, for children with moderate and mild learning needs.
The acquisition means that in the short period since its establishment in 2018, Chatsworth Schools now comprises fourteen schools and nurseries.
The Clyde & Co team was led by Partner Simon Gamblin and Senior Associate Nick Long, and supported by Associate Noor Al Kooheji.
