4 DECEMBER 2025

US tariffs

• On 1 December 2025, the US and the UK reached an agreement in principle under the Economic Prosperity Deal (EPD) to maintain 0 percent tariff on all UK pharmaceutical imports into the US for at least three years.

When will the tariffs come into effect?

• The effective date for implementation of the 0 percent tariff on UK pharmaceutical imports into the US has yet to be confirmed.
