Nicole advises on all aspects of trade mark protection and enforcement, including advising clients on the use of the International Trade Mark system and appropriate corporate structures for holding intellectual property rights. Whilst Nicole's background is in the prosecution and enforcement of UK and EU trade mark rights, she now has extensive experience in trade mark matters in the GCC countries and wider MENA region.
In addition to trade mark matters, Nicole advises clients on industrial design protection, including freedom to operate, infringement and enforcement advice. Nicole also advises on copyright and domain name issues, including representing clients in UDRP, ICANN and Nominet dispute resolution proceedings.
Nicole advises both local and international clients, and has particular experience advising clients in the luxury goods, fashion, hospitality and leisure, entertainment, aviation and real estate sectors.
Prior to moving to the UAE, Nicole practised at specialist trade mark and design attorney firms in the UK.
