Malyka Akom focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, with experience representing clients in a wide range of commercial disputes. Malyka regularly handles matters involving commercial general liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, aviation, and products liability claims. She also has experience assisting clients with coverage analysis and litigation strategy across a variety of high-exposure matters.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Malyka gained experience in the nonprofit and public interest sectors. Her background includes work involving family law, mental health advocacy, community-based legal services, and client representation for underserved populations. These experiences strengthened her advocacy, legal writing, and client counseling skills, which continue to inform her approach to representing clients in complex litigation matters.
