Samia focuses her practice on commercial and investment arbitration, as well as cross-border dispute resolution. Based in Paris, she represents clients in ICC, UNCITRAL, ICSID, LCIA and SCC arbitrations, involving diverse governing laws and seats. Her practice encompasses post-award proceedings (including set-aside and enforcement), asset tracing and recovery across jurisdictions, and the coordination of evidence-taking and interim relief in support of foreign proceedings. Samia represents both public and private clients across sectors such as waste management, intellectual property, high-tech as well as energy and natural resources disputes.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Samia acquired a wide range of experience in international arbitration in several leading international law firms based in Paris and Casablanca.
Samia is admitted to the Paris and Casablanca Bars. She holds two Master's degrees from the University of Paris II Pantheon Assas, in International Business Law, and in Litigation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She also holds a PhD in International Arbitration and Comparative Law from the University of Paris II Pantheon Assas.
She is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
