 Darling is a Special Counsel in Clyde & Co’s cyber, media and technology practice, based in Brisbane. She advises clients on privacy, data protection and cyber security. Darling has managed large-scale cyber incidents, advising clients on data breach notification obligations across various relevant legislation in Australia. Darling has extensive experience advising on IT, commercial contracts, and data-related issues in complex cross-border M&A transactions.

Within her practice, Darling provides advice on legal and regulatory compliance obligations with new data protection regulations and legislation in multiple national and international jurisdictions. In addition, Darling also provides strategic advice on technology sourcing and digital transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws (University of Western Sydney) and Bachelor of Arts (Macquarie University).
