Kate is a Legal Director in Clyde & Co's London Property and Liability Department. Kate is an experienced insurance lawyer dealing with liability claims within a broad spectrum of industries, with a special focus on the construction, engineering and rail sector both in the UK and internationally.
Kate advises on policy cover issues for both liability and CAR insurers, and also deals with subrogated recovery and liability defence work. Throughout her career, Kate has been involved in a number of large, complex cases, often with a cross-border element. She speaks French and has managed a number of cases with both English and French law issues, most notably a case involving a high profile stage collapse in France running for almost 10 years.
In addition to dealing with civil claims, Kate has also dealt with HSE inquests, gaining her a strong understanding of the overlapping issues between the two.
