Chris is Head of Employment at Clyde & Co, Chair of the Corporate & Advisory practice group, and a member of the Professional Services practice group exec committee.
Chris advises employers, companies, partnerships, and LLPs on all of their people issues.
He works predominately in the financial services, professional services, and insurance sectors supporting a number of law firms, accountancy firms, banks , asset managers, insurers and insurance brokers.
Chris also has a focus on the infrastructure and transportation sectors.
Chris’ work includes advising on transformation / re-organisation projects and all employee and partner relations issues.
Chris advises on and managers all people disputes and litigation. This includes all Employment Tribunal claims – both managing reputationally significant and/or high financial liability discrimination and whistle-blowing claims and managing teams in relation to volume claims.
Chris advises in relation to protection of business issues and High Court litigation around the hiring of people, and in relation to confidential information. He was instructed in relation to the leading case in the area: Guy Carpenter & Company Limited and others -v- Willis Limited and others [2026] EWHC 361 (KB)
Chris is also instructed in relation to arbitrations for firms and employers, particularly in relation to disputes in relation to members’ agreements in the professional services sector.
Chris’ experience includes working in-house as an employment lawyer at two North American investment banks.
