Alexis D. Johnson is an Associate Attorney in the Trial & Defense Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation throughout New York State.

Drawing on her prior litigation experience, including service as a New York State Office of the Attorney General Honors Litigation Fellow, Alexis contributes to all stages of litigation and assists in counseling and defending clients in premises liability, insurance coverage, motor vehicle accident, and complex construction matters.

Before joining Clyde, Alexis gained extensive experience representing private clients and municipalities in both state and federal courts. Her practice included defending and litigating matters involving premises liability, insurance coverage, motor vehicle accidents, Section 1983 civil rights claims, Article 78 proceedings, employment discrimination actions, and complex constitutional issues.

In addition to her litigation experience, Alexis served as a judicial extern for Judge Jill Pryor of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and former Presiding Judge M. Yvette Miller of the Georgia Court of Appeals. She also worked as a Law Clerk with the Institute for Justice, where she contributed to litigation involving significant federal and state constitutional questions.
