Jakub Ksiazek is a seasoned lawyer with over twenty years of experience in handling commercial litigation and insurance disputes. He focuses his practice on property loss and specialty lines work for domestic and international insurers, including subrogation, construction, E & O, and complex tort claims.
Jakub has represented countless clients in actions across Western Canada and has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta. He is also skilled in alternate forms of dispute resolution, having participated in hundreds of negotiations, mediations, JDRs, and arbitrations over his career. Jakub’s core values include responsiveness, client service, efficiency, and practical problem solving.
In addition, Jakub spent four years tutoring law students, enjoys public speaking, and is frequently presenting to clients or colleagues on various legal issues of interest.
On a more personal note, Jakub counts Ernst Shackleton, the famous Antarctic explorer, as one of his all-time favorite heroes.
