Michelle is a Legal Director based in our Belfast office and joined the firm in 2017. Michelle’s practice includes the defence of large loss and catastrophic personal injury claims for insurers.
Michelle is a technical lead in Motor, Cat PI and Large loss claims, handling a case load of personal injury claims involving serious injuries including traumatic brain injuries and fatal accidents.
Michelle also specialises in road traffic accidents involving Untraced and Uninsured drivers as well as cross-jurisdiction issues arising from accidents occurring in the Republic of Ireland. Michelle also deals with a range of EL/PL matters and complex indemnity matters arising from property damage claims.
Michelle is a client relationship contact to a number of clients, advising and shaping our clients’ strategic approach to claims and keeping clients updated in relation to changes in the jurisdiction.
Michelle also assists in leading our Northern Ireland Abuse Team advising and supervising on issues resulting from recent and historic allegations of abuse and responding to civil claims arising.
Michelle has a passion for Diversity & Inclusion, having co-organised female networking events, in her role in the firm’s GECCO network, as well as supporting the Pryde & Co network.
Michelle is a member of the NI Medico-Legal Society.
