Tal joined Clyde & Co’s Toronto office in 2018 after working as an associate at a leading insurance defence boutique in Toronto. He has a broad insurance defence practice with particular expertise in professional liability, municipal liability, product liability, tavern and commercial host liability, and sports liability. Tal also provides insurance coverage advice on a wide range of issues and sectors and acts for insurers in complex coverage litigation. 

In 2022, Tal moved back from Toronto to his hometown of Winnipeg, where he maintains a practice in both Manitoba and Ontario. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016 and the Manitoba Bar in 2022.  

Tal is recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada as “One to Watch” for his work in Insurance Law. 

Tal serves on the firm’s Pro Bono and Social Impact Committee and is proud to volunteer at Meals on Wheels Winnipeg.
