Constance Malleville is a senior associate in the Litigation and International Arbitration team of the Paris office.
Constance Malleville is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and International Arbitration team in the Paris office. Her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration, as well as cross-border litigation.
Constance has successfully represented clients in ICC, ICSID, PCA, UNCITRAL and ad hoc arbitrations under a variety of applicable laws and arbitral seats, across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in France, Europe, Eastern Europe and Africa. Her experience spans a broad range of sectors, including construction, defence, high-tech and energy, and includes acting for State-owned entities and sovereign States, as well as corporations and individuals.
She is also involved in arbitration-related court proceedings concerning the setting aside and enforcement of arbitral awards in France and abroad.
In addition, Constance advises clients before civil and commercial courts in France and internationally, with a particular focus on private international law issues. Her experience includes proceedings relating to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, multi-jurisdictional asset tracing and recovery, fraud litigation, cross-border insolvency matters, the taking of evidence abroad, and the obtaining of conservatory measures in support of foreign proceedings.
Constance also regularly acts as arbitral secretary of arbitral tribunals.
She is currently Co-Chair of the Paris Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (PVYAP) group.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Constance trained and worked at several French and international law firms in Paris, with experience in international arbitration, public international law, and civil and commercial litigation.
Constance has been admitted to the Paris Bar since 2020. She holds an LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also completed a Master’s degree in International Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, a Master’s degree in English and North American Business Law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Certificate of Legal Studies from the Institut des Hautes Études Internationales (IHEI) in Paris.
