Bonnie Perrino serves as coverage counsel for domestic and international insurers facing complex coverage disputes and claims challenges. Bonnie also represents and counsels insurers nationwide on a variety of first- and third-party liability issues.
Previously, Bonnie was an associate at a Chicago-based firm where her practice primarily focused on insurance coverage matters. In this role, she represented and provided counseling to domestic and London market insurers on claims arising from directors' and officers' liability, mortgage bankers and brokers liability, employment practices liability, broker dealer, and other financial institution matters. Bonnie has a strong understanding of claims handling and coverage analysis.
During law school, Bonnie externed for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Criminal Appeals Division, participated in UIC Law’s Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, and clerked at Chicago-based law firms specializing in insurance law. Bonnie served as managing editor for the UIC Law Review and a technical grader for Moot Court Honors Council.
