Dr. Ramadan is widely regarded as a go-to practitioner in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector. His practice also spans the automotive, oil and gas, construction, technology and energy sectors, acting for prominent regional and international companies across Egypt and the wider Middle East. He also focuses on pharmaceuticals, competition law, merger control with a unique combination of economic and competition regulatory experience.
He has advised on multiple corporate transactions, working closely with clients operating in the automotive, energy, pharmaceutical, healthcare and technology sectors.
Dr. Ramadan is admitted as attorney and counsellor at law with New York State Bar and admitted before the Court of Cassation in Egypt.
He graduated with a Master of Law Degree and PHD (SJD) from the George Washington University Law School in 2006 and 2009 respectively. He also graduated with the highest honours from Cairo University in 2003.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Dr. Ramadan served as the managing partner of the Cairo office of a regional law firm. He also led the General Corporate and Commercial Department at one of the leading law firms in Cairo. In addition, Dr. Ramadan has worked with US law firms in their Cairo, London, and Washington, DC offices.
