Prior to rejoining Clyde & Co, Jeremy served as Chief of Staff and General Counsel to the Mayor of Seattle, where he acted as chief legal advisor to the Mayor, executive leadership team, and cabinet of one of the nation’s largest municipal governments. In that role, he advised on labor and employment matters, governance, ethics, regulatory compliance, and litigation strategy, while overseeing legal and operational matters affecting a 14,000-employee organization. He also led labor negotiations involving public-sector unions, managed significant claims and litigation matters, and counseled senior officials on complex and high-profile legal issues.
