Louise’s practice focuses on international arbitration and cross border litigation.
She advises and represents clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings conducted under the rules of leading arbitral institutions (including ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC and DIS), in French, English and German. Her experience spans a broad range of industries, including infrastructure, construction, energy, mining, healthcare and waste management, and includes acting for sovereign States, State owned entities and private companies. She also assists clients in set aside and enforcement proceedings relating to arbitral awards before the French courts.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Louise gained experience in several leading law firms in Paris, New York and Hamburg, as well as at the ICC. She also worked at the International Commercial Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal, where she was involved in a number of set aside proceedings.
Louise was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2025. She studied in France, Germany and the United States, and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Cologne, a Master’s degree in International Law from Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, and a Master’s degree in Arbitration and International Economic Law from Université Paris II Panthéon Assas.
She also teaches Contract Law as a teaching assistant at Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne.
Louise holds French and German citizenship and is fluent in French, German and English.
