Mark has extensive experience acting on coverage and defence disputes in the directors & officers and financial lines insurance and reinsurance markets. Mark's work frequently involves an international or offshore element, including cross-border disputes. He specialises in large claims against directors, financial institutions, corporate trustees, Lloyd's brokers, wealth management firms, asset managers, stock brokers, corporate services providers, insolvency practitioners, tax advisors and accountants.

Mark’s insurance experience covers D&O, EPL, PTL, POSI, financial institution risks, including Bankers’ Blanket Bond, Crime, Civil Liability claims and regulatory investigations.  He frequently represents Insurers in declaratory proceedings and at arbitration. He also advises on policy wordings.

Mark regularly acts in a defence capacity in respect of complex claims against financial professionals, many of which have been credit crunch driven. He has also acted in relation to disputes arising from unregulated collective investment schemes, which has engaged numerous aspects of the FSMA regulatory regime, as well as consequential FCA disciplinary investigations. Mark’s experience includes advising on all of the major product mis-selling issues experienced by the retail financial services industry.
