Mersedeh Safa is a qualified Costs Lawyer in the jurisdiction of England and Wales and leads our Commercial Costs Team in London and Guildford.
She specialises in costs management and the resolution of costs disputes in complex and high-value claims, representing both paying and receiving parties. Mersedeh has more than 20 years’ experience in handling costs disputes in English civil litigation in the High Court, Appeal Courts, Supreme Court and Arbitrations.
She has managed costs disputes in excess of £50m, advising and delivering clear and comprehensive advice on a full range of costs solutions to clients and lawyers. She further specialises in matters relating to solicitor and client disputes and defence costs monitoring in coverage matters.
Mersedeh regularly speaks and provides training on issues relating to costs management and disputes.
