Wouter Knoester, LLM, completed his Master’s degree in Civil Law at the University of Leiden in 2010. He started as a lawyer in general practice but ultimately decided to concentrate on liability and insurance law.
The emphasis in Wouter’s work lies on advising and litigating in matters in the fields of professional and business liability, disciplinary law and coverage disputes.
In 2019, Wouter successfully completed the post-academic Specialist course in Enterprise & Liability at the Grotius Academie. He is a member of the Association for Liability and Compensation Law and of the Association for Insurance Research.
Wouter is registered with the Dutch Bar Association (NOVA) as specialising in the field of contract law. According to the standards applied by the Netherlands Bar, this registration requires that he obtain ten educational points in that specific field in each calendar year.
