Martin Stevens is a Legal Consultant based in our Rotterdam office. His practice focuses on data protection, AI, cybersecurity and financial services regulation. He assists organisations in relation to personal data breaches and interactions with regulators. Martin also has (litigation) experience in the field of insurance and liability law, enabling him to support clients with policy drafting, coverage matters and litigation in relation to data protection and cybersecurity.
Before joining Clyde & Co, Martin held several in-house legal positions primarily within the insurance sector. Furthermore, he was a member of the privacy committees of the Dutch Insurers Organisation (Verbond van Verzekeraars) and the Confederation of Industry and Employers/the Dutch Association of SMEs (VNO-NCW/MKB-Nederland). This background allows him to deliver pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice, taking into account the commercial, regulatory and operational realities faced by clients.
