Liz is an experienced marine lawyer, specialising in cargo and carriage of goods claims, both domestic and worldwide. Liz also specialises in yacht claims, including damage to yachts, yacht collisions, etc, and claims on behalf of ports and harbours.

Liz has practised law in the shipping and marine insurance sector since 2009. Liz was promoted to Senior Associate in 2019, having Clyde & Co in 2016 as an Associate.
Her practice has predominantly focussed on shipping and transportation claims, including international carriage of goods, logistics, warehousing, ports and terminals, P&I and charterparty claims, oil sale contract disputes and yachting claims.
Liz acts for a number of insurers both domestic and worldwide. Liz handles claimant and defence of liability matters before the English Admiralty and Commercial Courts, arbitration and also in a number of other jurisdictions across the globe. The claims arise from damage/loss of cargo in transit, irrespective of whether the carriage was by sea, air, rail or road.
Liz assists in high value and multi-track shipping and international logistics matters.
