Advocatus Emeritus title for two Clyde & Co partners
Clyde & Co is proud to announce that two partners from the firm's Canadian arm have been named Advocatus Emeritus by the Quebec Bar.
John Nicholl and Mindy Paskell-Mede have been honoured with the title, which acknowledges lawyers whose careers have exemplified professional excellence, exceptional influence and a sustained and remarkable contribution to the profession and community.
Clyde & Co Senior Partner Michael Payton QC said: "Our congratulations go out to both John and Mindy on achieving this fantastic honour.
"Only 21 lawyers in the province of Quebec received this title in 2012, and, so we understand, it is highly unusual for two partners in the same firm to receive this award in the same year."
John and Mindy are partners in the firm's Montreal office in Canada, joining in September 2011 with the merger of Clyde & Co with prominent Canadian insurance law firm, Nicholl Paskell-Mede.
