Devika's arbitration experience includes cases across a range of sectors for both private and state parties under the auspices of a variety of rules (AAA, ICC, ICSID, LCIA and UNCITRAL). She has particular experience in energy and construction disputes, advising many of the world's energy majors on a variety of complex cross-border disputes. She represents clients in gas price review arbitrations and in relation to production sharing agreement disputes. She also advises clients on the impact of US and EU sanctions and on bilateral investment treaty planning.
Devika is an English-qualified solicitor-advocate (Higher Rights). She has experience as both arbitrator and counsel.
Devika is a regular contributor to legal journals and speaker at conferences. She speaks English (native), French, Italian and Greek.
Devika joined Clyde & Co as a partner in 2012. Before joining the firm, she was part of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's international arbitration group and previously trained and worked at Slaughter and May.
