Elizabeth Turnbull is a partner in Clyde & Co's Marine and International Trade department.
She has an international practice with an emphasis on transportation, trade and commercial and insurance/reinsurance work. As a native Spanish speaker, she has a particular focus on work involving Spain and Latin America.
Elizabeth specialises in dispute resolution and has significant litigation experience in the High Court and in LMAA, LCIA and ICC arbitrations.
On the transportation side, her caseload comprises largely of disputes under shipping and commodities and related contracts, such as charterparties, bills of lading and marine insurance contracts. In commercial matters, she is involved in a variety of trade and investment disputes. Her clients include shipowners, charterers, freight forwarders, oil majors, traders and their insurers/reinsurers.
Ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers, she is praised for her “understanding of legal problems and solutions”.
