John Goodman joined the firm as a trainee in 1990. In addition to his specialisation in general insurance work, John deals with inquests, defamation, health and safety prosecutions and judicial review cases on behalf of local authorities.

John also has a particular interest in the Animals Act and regularly deals with equestrian and other animal claims. He has assisted one client in a response to the Government's consultation on amending the strict liability provisions under the Act.

John is a regular presenter on a variety of topics at seminars and client events. Recent talks include the Ogden tables, employers' liability regulations, and Government proposals for reforming the claims process.
