Annual Medical & Social Care Inquest Seminar

Overview & Audience

Clyde & Co's Annual Medical & Social Care Inquest seminar will take place on Thursday 17 September 2020 from 09.15am to 11.15am.

We are delighted to announce that Derek Winter, Deputy Chief Coroner of England and Wales and HM Senior Coroner for the City of Sunderland, will be joining us.

In addition to the Deputy Chief Coroner's presentation, the seminar, lead by our in-house inquest advocates, will cover the following topics:

• A year of inquests: the good, the bad and the ugly - Claire Petts, Head of Healthcare
• The legal implications of the deaths of NHS and social care workers from Covid-19 - Gemma Brannigan, Partner and Assistant Coroner

The presentations will then be followed by a panel / Q&A discussion featuring all three speakers.
