1. Advising airlines on the implementation of CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation)
    
2. Assisted Nobian, a European leader in the production of essential bulk chemicals, on the set-up of the new joint venture Hydrogen Chemistry Company (HyCC)
    
3. Advising numerous airlines in respect of compliance with the EU ETS (emissions trading scheme
    
4. Advising client in relation to a proposed waste minimisation and reuse strategy involving the reuse of waste glass (cullet) from customers in its float glass manufacturing process. The work included advising the client in relation to the legal avenues available for export of waste glass from Australia and the classification of cullet as waste/by-product
    
5. Appeared as advocate at the Manchester Airport Second Runway public inquiry following which the necessary planning and environmental approvals were granted for the construction of the new runway
    
6. Advising a global insurer on potential exposures to climate change claims by a number of insureds/reinsureds, providing legal advice to assist with claims handling and monitoring, engaging in preliminary coverage analysis, and correspondence with various policyholders including reservation of rights letters
    
7. Provided clients with environmental legal training on greenwashing risks
