Majed has advised on a number of corporate and commercial transactions, working with clients operating in the energy and natural resources, retail and consumer, and trade and commodities sectors. 

Majed is a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia and a qualified attorney in the State of New York. He graduated with a Master of Laws degree (LLM) from DePaul University College of Law, US, a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Iowa College of Law, US, and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) in Islamic Law from Al-Iman Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. 

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Majed worked at a large-sized law firm, and a governmental investigatory entity, both in Saudi Arabia. 

Majed is fluent in Arabic and English. 

Experience
  • Advising Arabian Contracting Services Company (Al Arabia), a Saudi listed company, on its SAR 1.05 billion acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Faden Media and Advertising Company (Faden Media).
  • Advising on a major hotel-operating company on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. 
  • Advising on due diligence, efficiently reviewing documents, identifying potential risks. 
  • Advising on various types of commercial transactions and corporate matters.
  • Advising on complex M&A transactions involving multiple parties, including the reviewing, drafting, and negotiating of transactional documents.
  • Advising an insurance publicly listed JSC on capital market, commercial, corporate and SAMA matters.
  • Advising a publicly listed JSC on anti-money laundering and anti-corruption matters.
  • Advising LLCs and JSCs on matters in relation to the Companies Law and Regulations.
