Quentin Brimberg is an associate in the Paris office's International Arbitration and Litigation team. 
He acts in both commercial and investment arbitration (ICC, PCA, ad hoc and ICSID arbitration proceedings in particular) on behalf of international companies and governments before arbitral tribunals and the French courts. Quentin also acts before the French courts in proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Quentin acquired experience in international arbitration and litigation while working for several international law firms in Paris.

Quentin holds a Master's degree in Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and a Master's degree in International Business Law from the University of Paris. He also holds an LLM in International Dispute Resolution from the University of King's College London. He works in both English and French and has a basic knowledge of Spanish. Quentin is of French and British nationality.

Experience
  • Representation of the Republic of Cameroon in ICSID arbitration no. ARB/20/2 concerning an online financial platform operating to finance community projects in Cameroon.
  • Representation of a private company against a West African State in an ICC arbitration in the mining sector.
  • Representation of an Eastern European state in a PCA investment arbitration in the metallurgy sector.
  • Representation of a private company in an ICC arbitration following a transfer of shares between members of a joint venture created for the purpose of exploiting a mine on the territory of a West African state.
  • Representation of a state in the southern Middle East in an action for annulment before the French courts of an arbitration award relating to an agreement for the exploitation, development and production of an oil block.
