Vera holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

She specialises in industrial risks and particularly focuses on policy coverage advise in the areas of construction, professional liability, product liability, engineering, and energy. She also deals with related contentious matters.

Before joining Clyde & Co in January 2020, Vera worked at a law firm specialised in corporate and civil law.  

She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

Experience

• Professional Indemnity - Construction Professionals – Advising insurers on policy coverage in relation to design defect claims under Professional Indemnity Policies.
• Energy - Advising insurers on policy coverage in respect of claims concerning losses in hydroelectric power plants, photovoltaic power plants or biomass power plants.
• Product Liability - Acting for the insured in respect of claims concerning product liability losses.
