Amie joined Clyde & Co in 2019 and is part of the Marine and International Trade team in the Manchester office.
Amie specialises in cargo and international goods in transit claims. Her expertise also extends to marine casualties, warehouse and yacht claims.
Amie handles litigation before the commercial and admiralty courts in the High Court in London, as well as coordinating litigation in a number of other jurisdictions including Italy, Turkey and Brazil.
Amie recently formed part of the team acting for the successful Claimants in the matter of Holyhead Marina v. Peter Farrer [2020] EWHC 1750 (Admlty) where the Admiralty Court considered interesting and significant issues concerning limitation of liability that will be of great interest to owners, insurers and users of docks and marinas.
