Adam is an Associate in the Aviation Liability team based in the Manchester office. Adam joined Clyde & Co in 2014 and the Aviation team in 2018.

Throughout his career at Clyde & Co he has worked with a number of major insurers dealing with litigation based disputes. Adam has extensive litigation experience and has presented to insurers and other stakeholders regarding risk, strategy and legal developments.

Adam obtained a distinction in his LPC combined with a Masters in Law, Business and Management.

  • Claims brought under Equality Act 2010 – Successfully striking out claims brought against airlines under the Equality Act 2010 for alleged discrimination
  • Defective aircraft – Successfully defended a multi-party claim brought by a ground handler who sustained a serious facial injury through an alleged defective aircraft door
  • Recovery - Successfully obtaining 50% recovery from a third party in respect of claims brought against an airline under the Montreal Convention 1999. The Claimant sustained significant life-altering injuries
  • Dealing with multi-jurisdictional litigation within the European area
  • Presenting at Claims Reviews to airlines, insurers and other stakeholders
  • Montreal Convention 1999 Limits – Successful in defending a claim which sought in excess of Montreal Convention 1999 limits
