Jasmine Shory is an associate with a broad focus on commercial and civil litigation and insurance disputes. She has represented clients in Alberta before the Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench, as well as in British Columbia at the Provincial and Supreme Court levels. She has also represented clients in various arbitral and administrative tribunals.

Jasmine joined Clyde & Co’s Calgary office after articling in Vancouver at a large national firm. She spent her articles working on various securities and corporate commercial matters and gaining litigation experience with commercial, civil, labour and employment, and insurance and tort liability files. 

In addition to having completed her legal education at the University of Alberta, she earned a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business with distinction and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with distinction from the University of Calgary. Jasmine has previously worked as a Management Consultant, a Senior Associate at PwC Canada and a Sales and Marketing Intern at IBM Canada. 

In the past, she has acted as an Editorial Board Member and a Chairperson of the Alberta Law Review, a President of the Law and Business Association and a Case Worker with the Student Legal Services family and civil law program. Moreover, Jasmine volunteers regularly with Calgary Legal Guidance and Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project through Pro Bono Law Alberta. 

Outside of the office, she enjoys yoga; in fact, she trained at the Sadhana School of Yoga in Kerala (India) and is a certified teacher with the International Yoga Alliance. Jasmine also enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Simba.
