Catalina Turner is an associate in the tax department in our Santiago de Chile office, since October 2016.
As a member of the tax department of the Firm, her practice is focused on matters of tax compliance and tax planning, corporate reorganizations and advising companies on matters of corporate law. Also, her practice involves matters of personal taxes, inheritance and gifts tax and international taxation.
Experience
- Patrimonial reorganizations – Advising clients regarding the structure and execution of patrimonial reorganizations in order to protect their investments, including the structuring in other jurisdictions.
- Conservation – Advising on the tax treatment of a Chilean In Rem Right of Conservation (Derecho Real de Conservación), and the ways to structure it from a tax perspective.
- International reorganization - Advising in an international reorganization in order to attract international investors, including an international companies merger.
