Adam specialises in aviation litigation work (claimant and defendant), and handles a broad spectrum of aviation-related claims, both in the UK and abroad. Being a German speaker, he has particular experience of managing claims brought in Germany and Austria. He has developed a particular interest in defending claims made against pilots, both in relation to airline and general aviation flights, and is himself a qualified private fixed-wing pilot, helicopter pilot and paraglider pilot.

Fixed-wing qualifications and experience include night, multi-engine, seaplane and restricted instrument ratings; bush and mountain flying, advanced flying and aerobatics courses; complex aircraft, tailwheel aircraft and digital cockpit conversion training; three axis microlight and glider conversion courses.

Adam is also a qualified Class Rating Flying Instructor, having accumulated over 300 flying hours in the UK, the US and Canada.

Adam has also completed an extended Jet Orientation Course, accumulating over 35 hours on Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320 simulators.
