Clyde & Co is one of the largest international law firms in the GCC, combining exceptional local knowledge with international best practice.
As the birthplace of Islam, the most populous country in GCC, and boasting a quarter of the world's oil reserves, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has a towering regional presence. The Kingdom is enjoying increased foreign investment whilst simultaneously continuing its programme of large scale infrastructure projects. From our office in Riyadh we offer a wide range of legal services across all sectors to Saudi and international clients, private individuals and entities.
Building on six years of working in close association with The Law office of Abdulaziz Al-Bosaily, Clyde & Co and Abdulaziz Al-Bosaily jointly established a formal Clyde & Co office in Riyadh on 1st March 2015. The newly-formed entity is fully integrated with Clyde & Co globally. The office will be jointly operated by Abdulaziz Al-Bosaily who is General Manager of the new company, and Clyde & Co.
Ben Cowling, a specialist construction partner of Clyde & Co who has been resident in KSA since 2012, will continue to be based in Riyadh and assist with the management of the office.
Saudi Arabia plays a vital role in Clyde & Co's regional development plan. This milestone demonstrates the firm's long-term commitment to the Kingdom and provides an even stronger platform to service clients and expand business. The firm is only the second international law firm to gain regulatory approval to open a fully integrated office in the Kingdom.
Boasting a team of 17 fee earners, 75% of whom are Saudi nationals, the team is supported by Clyde & Co's wider regional team of 170 lawyers based across four additional offices in the UAE, Qatar and Libya.
