As the birthplace of Islam, the headquarters of the GCC, and boasting a quarter of the world's oil reserves, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has a towering regional presence. The Kingdom is enjoying increased foreign investment whilst simultaneously continuing its programme of large scale infrastructure projects. From our office in Riyadh we offer a wide range of legal services across all sectors to Saudi and international clients, private individuals and entities.
Our Middle East offices provide advice to corporate clients from all over the world, as well as to regional corporates and governments, on their operations throughout the Middle East and Indian subcontinent. Our approach in the region is based on a successful formula which combines in-depth local expertise and know-how with international law firm standards.
Abdulaziz Al-Bosaily is a Saudi Arabian qualified lawyer who is the owner and managing partner of Abdulazi Albosaily law office in association with Clyde & Co’s Middle Eastern Corporate and Financial Services groups. Abdulaziz served as senior Saudi counsel to ECA's conventional and Islamic lenders in connection with a USD 8.5 billion petrochemical project (recognised as a 'Project Finance Deal of the Year' by IFLR) and the first ever Sukuk approved by the Capital Market Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (awarded 'Deal of the Year ' by Islamic Finance News). In mid 2008 he established an independent Saudi law office in Riyadh, prior to partnering with Clyde & Co in early 2009.
Clyde & Co’s regional presence, market-position and breadth of resource, and Abdulaziz’s stature in the market and expertise in Islamic finance, represents a compelling complement to Clyde & Co’s already strong Corporate and Financial Services practices.
