Art

As part of the firm's global corporate responsibility programme we display art in our offices to help to inspire conversations about mental health and to support students as they transition from art school to professional artist.

Through our Art programme participants are invited to exhibit their work in Clyde & Co's offices in London, Dubai, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Montréal.

In London, we have recently launched a new partnership with Perspective Project, a social enterprise tackling mental health stigma through art and creativity, to display a range of pieces from artists who have direct experience of mental health issues and have used art as a vehicle for recovery. The art will help to inspire conversations about and increase understanding of mental health in the workplace. This forms part of the firm’s wider focus on supporting the wellbeing of our people.

In Dubai, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Montréal the art we display is submitted by local art students, helping students to transition from art school to the commercial art world as part of their career path. Participants are invited to exhibit their work in Clyde & Co's offices and we support art graduates in their professional development and pay them fairly to show their work – both vital elements to enable them to sustain their practice.

We have had the pleasure of working with Clyde & Co over the past year on their mental health & wellbeing program. It has been fantastic to work with an organisation who understand the challenges that working life can present to their employees, and are willing to take meaningful steps to open the important conversation of how to support their wellbeing. Good workplace mental health is vital for healthy, flourishing organisations. Tackling mental health stigma at Clyde & Co with creativity, openness and honesty has been a highlight of the year for Perspective Project
