The team based in Jeddah and Riyadh will advise clients in the western region and across the Kingdom on the full spectrum of their legal needs, including aviation, corporate and commercial, data protection, dispute resolution, employment, energy, marine and trade, insurance, intellectual property, projects and construction, real estate and hospitality, and regulatory and investigations.

Sara Khoja, Partner and Chair of Clyde & Co's Middle East and Africa Board, commented: "We are delighted to announce the opening of our second office in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom continues to be an important part of the firm's regional development plan and our broad offering provides clients with an integrated approach in two of the biggest markets in Saudi Arabia. Clyde & Co also supports many of the largest regional conglomerates on their legal requirements in the Middle East and across their global networks. The new office will enable us to offer Jeddah-based conglomerates access to a local team to support their growth, with full access to our global network of over 60 offices."

Abdulaziz Al-Bosaily, Managing Partner – Saudi Arabia, said: "The opening of our Jeddah office is the latest milestone in expanding our offering in KSA and aligns with our teams' expertise in Jeddah's key growth sectors. We have been advising clients in Jeddah for many years, and the new office will solidify our commitment to supporting private and public sector growth in the western region."

Mohammed Almarzouki, partner, commented: "As Saudi Arabia continues its transformation journey, Jeddah presents several significant opportunities. The opening of our new office will allow us to provide on-the-ground support to help domestic and international clients successfully navigate the legal landscape. I am looking forward to continuing to assist existing clients and introducing our range of services to new clients."

The firm's KSA practice has also grown significantly in the last 12 months in line with market opportunities and client priorities. Most recently, the firm reinforced its long-term commitment to the development of the legal sector and the growth of local talent in Saudi Arabia with the approval of its RHQ licence. The new RHQ licence followed the appointments of corporate partner, Mohammed Almarzouki and dispute resolution partner, Anas Alswailem in 2023.
