Global law firm Clyde & Co is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Ebner and Ronald Ohren as partners in its Chicago office. Both bring extensive experience in insurance disputes and join from Baker McKenzie.
Ronald Ohren, a seasoned insurance dispute specialist with more than 35 years of experience in the legal industry, the longtime Chair of the Insurance Practice in Baker’s North America Litigation and Government Enforcement Group, has built a career advising clients on complex insurance and reinsurance matters. His practice has focuses on pre-dispute advice, proactive risk management, and representation of insurance industry clients in mediation, arbitration, litigation, and other alternative dispute proceedings.
Jon Ebner began his legal career as an in-house insurance counsel in Germany before joining Baker McKenzie, where he specialized in trials and arbitration work for German-speaking clients. He represents US and international companies in a variety of commercial disputes and advises multinational companies on a wide range of commercial matters, including breach of contract, products liability, and insurance disputes. His clients include top companies in the manufacturing, real estate, finance, and insurance industries.
