Clyde & Co has advised LEAD Development on the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Mansions, a luxurious residential development set within the grounds of the iconic Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The project, delivered in collaboration with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, marks the first time private ownership opportunities have been introduced alongside the prestigious Emirates Palace site, which has historically served as a setting for state visits, international gatherings and moments to celebrate the public identity of the nation. The development will feature a limited collection of ultra-luxury branded residences, setting a new benchmark for high-end living in the region. It will be positioned in an area of strategic importance, close to Qasr Al Watan, the Founder’s Memorial, and the Corniche.
The Clyde & Co team was led by Janeen Pickering (Partner, Real Estate & Hospitality), supported by Manali Sangoi (Senior Associate, Real Estate) and others in the award-winning Clyde & Co Real Estate team. Clyde & Co provided legal counsel to LEAD Development across the structuring and negotiation of the development arrangements, sales and branding of the project. The milestone was marked by a formal signing ceremony attended by key stakeholders within Abu Dhabi’s evolving real estate and hospitality landscape.
Janeen Pickering, Partner at Clyde & Co, commented:
Clyde & Co’s real estate team in the Middle East is widely recognised for advising on complex, high-value acquisitions, disposals and development projects across the region.
