Clyde & Co welcomes Stephen Hoffman as partner in US Trial & Defense practice

Clyde & Co is pleased to welcome Stephen Hoffman as a partner in its US Trial & Defense practice, based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Stephen is a proficient trial lawyer with more than 30 years of litigation experience, representing clients in complex commercial disputes, professional liability, toxic tort, and general liability matters. He has tried more than 30 cases to verdict in state and federal courts across Arizona and New Mexico and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  

Stephen joins from Lewis Brisbois and brings a strong track record advising insurers and corporates, with long-standing client relationships across a range of industries. His practice is known for its depth in high-stakes litigation and trial work, as well as his ability to deliver consistent outcomes for clients. 

His arrival reflects Clyde & Co’s continued investment in its US capabilities and its focus on strengthening trial and litigation expertise in key growth markets. Stephen will support the firm’s expanding presence in the Southwest, including Arizona and New Mexico, where demand for defense and insurance-related work continues to grow. 

Stephen will also play an important role in supporting the firm’s national trial team, working with colleagues across the US to deliver complex defense work and further develop client relationships.
