The promotions are testament to the firm’s continued investment in its global, cross discipline offering to support clients in navigating complex and evolving risks. They are in addition to 13 promotions made out of cycle during the course of the year. 17 of the 28 promotions are women (61%).

Over a third (10) of the promotions were made in North America, reflecting Clyde & Co’s sustained growth in the region. This year marks the firm’s 20th anniversary in North America, highlighting two decades of strategic growth and investment that have resulted in a platform of more than 400 attorneys, including over 100 partners in 21 offices across the United States and Canada. Recent growth has included new offices in Seattle and Indiana this year.

Eleven promotions were made across the UK (four in Manchester and seven in London), in addition to one promotion in each of Singapore, Düsseldorf and Paris and two promotions in Rio de Janeiro.

Two promotions were made in the Middle East, across Abu Dhabi, Doha and Dubai, in the region’s corporate practice. Since 1 May 2024, the firm has appointed nine new partners across the Middle East, including hires spanning technology, tax, aviation, and energy. These appointments highlight Clyde & Co’s continued commitment to supporting clients on the ground as they advance their strategic priorities and navigate the evolving regional landscape.

This year’s promotions span the firm’s disputes, corporate & advisory, insurance, aviation, construction, energy, and marine practices.

Carolena Gordon, Senior Partner, Clyde & Co said: “Our clients continue to face an increasingly complex risk landscape, shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory change and rapid technological evolution. These promotions reflect our ongoing investment in outstanding talent across the firm and strengthen our ability to meet clients’ evolving needs with the depth, sector expertise and global reach required to support them across their businesses. I congratulate all our newly promoted partners and look forward to the contribution they will make to our clients and to the continued success of the firm.”
