Clyde & Co expands MEA aviation capabilities with new partner appointment in Dubai

Clyde & Co has announced the growth of its aviation capabilities with the hire of Bushra Abu-Tayeh who has joined the firm as a partner in its Dubai office, This appointment reinforces the firm’s commitment to expanding its aviation capabilities across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.

Bushra joins Clyde & Co from Al Tamimi & Company in Dubai, where she led the aviation practice within the transport and insurance department, overseeing complex mandates across the region since 2019. She brings close to two decades of experience advising complex aviation and transport matters, acting for clients across the aviation, financial services, government and public sector, insurance and reinsurance, technology and transport sectors.  

Her practice focuses on aviation liability, regulatory and government advisory, private aviation transactions, aircraft leasing, and asset enforcement, including aircraft grounding, repossession and export under the Cape Town Convention. She also advises on wider transport and mobility matters.  Bushra is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and is also qualified with the Jordanian Bar Association.
