Abdulrahman has over 8 years' experience working on a wide range of matters, including corporate structuring, M&A, joint ventures, licensing, issues concerning the regulatory regimes within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; in addition to matters relating to corporate disputes. His litigation experience includes advising and defending clients on a wide range of complex disputes, including shareholder disputes, employment disputes, commercial disputes, representing clients before the Board of Grievances courts, Commercial Courts, Criminal Courts, Labour Committees/Courts and the General Court.
Abdulrahman also advises on internal governance, assisting Joint Stock companies (and Limited Liability companies from time to time) to maintain their practice, attending extraordinary and ordinary shareholders meetings, as well as board meetings, and ensuring compliance with the applicable laws.
He also has experience with regards to the Competition Authority, and implementation of its regulations in the Kingdom, including the necessary consents issued by the Competition Authority pertaining to completion of global mergers and acquisitions.
Advised Saudi Tabreed District Cooling Company, one of the largest utility companies in the Middle-East and leader in the district cooling sector in Saudi Arabia, on the private placement of a significant minority stake to IDB Infrastructure Fund II, an investment fund regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain
Assisted on one of Saudi Arabia's biggest hospitality M&A transactions including in connection with issues relating to clearance from the General Authority of Competition Economic Concentration
Assisted in the largest oil and gas M&A transaction globally, including in relation to issues concerning clearance from the General Authority of Competition Economic Concentration
Assisted in establishing and licensing various companies in Saudi Arabia in the educational sector
Advised and established one of the top vocational Canadian colleges in Saudi Arabia
Advised and prepared required material for restructuring one of the largest contracting companies in the Kingdom to bid and implement projects in favour of the National Housing Company
