Called to the Quebec Bar in 2019, Alexandre first joined the Clyde & Co team as a student in 2017. Bilingual (French and English) and pragmatic, Alexandre is always able to confidently identify concrete solutions for his clients. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in industrial relations, his interest in people and their complexities steered him towards the study of law at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
His practice is divided between dispute resolution in construction matters, professional liability (including engineers and building inspectors) and employment law.
Alexandre has a particular mastery of files requiring good cooperation among the parties involved. Trained in the new approach to conflict resolution, Alexandre is aware that dialogue is often the best way to move files forward. That said, when in court, he never hesitates to use his talent for public speaking, which proved to be a valuable skill when he participated in the 2018 Laskin moot court competition, finishing among the 15 best oralists, and when he was a student volunteer at the Université du Québec à Montréal legal clinic, where he also occupied various administrative functions. The democratization of access to justice is indeed a real concern for Alexandre.
Interested in matters relating to energy, Alexandre was previously a guide at the Robert-Bourassa Generating Facility in James Bay. He also has a passion for the popularization of science.
Outside of work, you will find him singing karaoke or playing board games with friends.
