Rawad is an associate in the Dubai office and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice, advising businesses across a wide range of sectors on private equity, cross-border M&A, investment funds, venture capital and general corporate matters.
Rawad has been based in Dubai since 2015, he advises on a variety of international corporate transactions and specializes in private equity, M&A, investment funds, venture capital, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
Having had experience as legal counsel at a major private equity firm, Rawad has acquired a strong commercial sense which allows him to accompany his clients in all stages of their business.
Rawad holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School in New York where he graduated with honours as a Harlan Stone Fiske Scholar. Rawad also holds an LL.M. in Business Law from Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth.
In 2019, Rawad was listed on The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist: Middle East, which noted him as being “among the rising stars of the legal profession in the Middle East”.
Rawad speaks fluent Arabic, French and English and is qualified to practice law in New York and Beirut.
