Sinan Amso

Sinan has advised on a number of corporate transactions, working with clients operating in the healthcare, hospitality and leisure, trade and commodities and technology sectors. 

Sinan is a licensed lawyer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, in 2020. In addition to this, Sinan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2013 and a masters degree in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, in 2015.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Sinan began his legal career at leading top tier law firms in New Zealand and Australia, where he qualified in 2020. 

He is fluent in Arabic and English. 

Experience

• Advising Nexus Underwriting (Nexus), a Brown & Brown group business, on its acquisition of Arma Fusion Limited, the parent company of Arma Underwriting Limited, completed on 2 January 2025. 
• Advising Gordon Drilling Technologies LLC (Gordon) on its acquisition of 100 per cent of the share capital of Vertex Downhole Trading LLC (Vertex UAE). As part of this acquisition, Gordon will also obtain the intellectual property rights for Winc, Winc+, and Mudlink technologies.
• Advising Big Bus Tours, the world’s largest operator of open-top bus sightseeing, on their acquisition of leading experience operator, Tour Dubai.
• Advising Zaad Capital on its AED 150 million sale of 75 per cent of Basatin Landscaping to Aldar Properties PJSC, the Abu Dhabi based property development, management, and investment company.
