Amun has advised on a number of corporate transactions, working with clients operating in the education, energy, healthcare, and retail and consumer sectors. 

Amun is a qualified attorney in the State of New York. She graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University – Charles Widger School of Law Pennsylvania, US in 2012, and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania, US in 2009. 

Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Amun worked at PwC Legal Middle East and a UK international law firm in Dubai.

Experience
  • Advising Cenomi Retail, a Saudi listed company and pioneering retail brand partner, on the SAR 120 million sale of its franchise rights (and related assets) for 18 brands to Abdullah Al-Othaim Fashion Company.
  • Advising the shareholders of the UAE’s Organic Foods and Cafe on a majority share sale to Gulf Japan Food Fund.
  • Advising the shareholders of Al Shirawi US Chillers on a 100 per cent sale of their regional and US chillers business to Dalkia (EDF Group).
  • Advising Al Futtaim on an asset sale of their sports and retail division, Royal Sporting House, operating in East Asia, the GCC, and Egypt to Gulf Marketing Group.
  • Advising WorleyParsons on the Middle East aspects of its USD 3.2 billion acquisition of Jacobs’ ECR Division. 
  • Advising Actuant Corporation (now Enerpac Tool Group), a NYSE-listed company, on its acquisition of the business of an industrial group with operations in several Middle East, African and Caspian countries.
  • Advising the shareholders of Blossom Nursery on the combination of the Blossom Nursery and Babilou Nursery in the UAE.
  • Advising a prominent UK arts institution on a JV with a global investment holding group for the purposes of establishing a postgraduate art institution in the UAE.
